Fuck dynamic pricing

I'm making a note that at this point I only want to buy my groceries at Winco. I am disgusted by the large corporations that are using dynamic price tags to get even more money.

I first noticed electronic price tags at Best Buy and thought, what a cool idea, it'll save the workers time from having to switch out tags.

To add on I love grocery pick up for connivence, but also fuck that. There's word that they manipulate the prices based on the user as well.

Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey

I was up on my phone scrolling(@spoiler: I'm back on the apps). Jose invited me down to watch the Ronda Rousey fight. I wasn't that interested because I don't really like fighting, but bids for connection right.

He mentioned to me that he remembers I read her book and telling him a few specifics. I didn't really remember, other than a faint inkling. I looked it up on my GoodReads and sure enough I did in 2016. I even left a rating with words.

I quit GoodReads a few years ago because fuck Jeff Bezos. I now use a woman created platform called The Story Graph. I hardly leave ratings or reviews, but having the ability to look back today was neat.

Noah & Kasey

Funny thing, the way I discovered Kasey Musgraves was from her collab with Noah Kahan on She Calls Me Back.

I listened to her new album and I was pleasantly pleased. It's very fun. Her interview with Zane Lowe is great. She talks about Texas, country music and Mexican culture.

Here are my top 3 songs
Mexican Honey
Back on the Wagon
Dry Spell

She released 2 other songs that were only available on Apple Music. I'm sure I could go searching, but hopefully I'll hear them one day.

Now...The Great Divide: The Last of the Bugs
Holy shit how I love this album. I can't stop listening or rather, putting a few songs on repeat.
#1 Haircut
Doors
Downfall
Dan
American Cars
The Great Divide
23
Paid Time Off
Porch Light

The only one I can't get on board with is Orbiter. I listened to it when I wasn't feeling well, maybe overstimulated, and the sound instantly hurt my ears. I can't really listen to it without having a dull ache in my left ear in particular. People love it though.

Something I appreciate this time around is reaching out to people to talk about the music. I just want to talk about it.

For Middle of Nowhere I reached out to someone based on their IG story. We had a good little exchange.

With Noah's I reached out to my midwives. I wonder if they thought I was reaching out to seek their services again hahaha. It was nice checking in and gushing over our love of sad songs.

They both have tour stops in SLC. There are so many concerts I want to attend this year, but I feel guilty getting a babysitter so many times.
